Free Four-Week Lenten Series Entitled "March to Easter" Offered at Bethel Seminary in March.

"March to Easter" is a four-week Lenten journey through the Gospels on the Sunday evenings of March from 7.00 to 8.15 pm in room 101. Each week will focus on a different Gospel to explore Jesus' mission and his work on the cross. On Sunday, March 4, Dr. Mark Strauss' topic will be "A Ransom for Many: The Passion in Mark's Gospel." On Sunday. March 11, Dr. Jeannine Brown's topic will be "Jesus' Death in Matthew and Why It Matters." On Sunday, March 18, Dr. James Smith's topic will be "Jesus' Seven Let Words and Life Wholeness." And on Sunday, March 25 (Palm Sunday), Rev. Dr. David Montzingo's topic will be "Keeping Holy Week through Scripture and Tradition," looking at the events of Holy Week as recorded in the Gospel of John and as we commemorate them today in various special liturgies.

"March to Easter" is open to anyone and is free of charge. However, Bethel Seminary would like you to register ahead of time at if you plan to attend. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to hear world-class scholars speak and prepare you for our observance of the Lord's death and resurrection.
