2016 Kingdom Conference Scheduled for 4-5 November

The Diocese of Western Anglicans invites you to join with other Anglican churches, clergy, and parishioners at the 2016 Kingdom Conference to be held in Pamona, CA on 4-5 November.  The conference will be focused on Disciple MakingServant Leadership, and Missional Reproduction.

The conference will be held at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel and Conference Center located at 601 W. McKinney Avenue, Pomona, CA 91768.  Sessions will include worship time along with plenary speakers and a variety of workshop sessions.  In addition, there will be a Kid’s Camp for the younger attendees. 

Plenary speakers will include Bishop Todd Hunter (Church for the Sake of Others), Gary Kinneman (Grace Church, Mesa, AZ) speaking on Spiritual Journeys, Rev. JK (Missionary to the Islamic World) speaking on Training Missional Leaders, and Rev. Yee Ching Wah (Dean of Thailand, Diocese of Singapore) speaking on Evangelism in a Cross-Cultural Context. 

Workshop speakers will cover a wide range of topics including Lay Leadership in the Body of Christ and Canon Law for Average Christians, Healing Ministry and Evangelism, Making Disciples through the Catechism, Mobilizing People for Hispanic Ministry and University Mission Start-ups, Young Anglicans Project, Cancer, Compassion and the Call of God, Spiritual Direction and the Local Church, and Starting and Maintaining an Alpha Program.
